District of Columbia Association of REALTORS® Endorses
Yvette Alexander for Ward 7 Councilmember
On March 28, 2007, the District of Columbia Association of REALTORS® (DCAR) officially announced its endorsement of Yvette Alexander for Ward 7 Councilmember. As a life long resident of Ward 7 and long time member of numerous civic and community associations throughout the District, Yvette understands the needs and concerns of Ward 7 and the District at-large.
Yvette has shown a keen interest in District homeowners and economic development in Ward 7. She recognizes the affordable housing and development needs of Ward 7 and wants to increase the number of revenue streams for the City so that the District government is less dependent on homeowner and property taxes.
"Yvette Alexander is a champion of the revitalization of Ward 7 and expanding the geographic footprint of prosperity in the District," said Committee Chairman Dale Mattison. "DCAR is pleased to give her its endorsement."
The District of Columbia Association of REALTORS® is comprised of almost 3,000 professionals who help residents find homes, and business owners find office and retail space in the District. The Association's members are on the front line of promoting ownership in the District to residents, potential residents, and business owners who are considering investing in the District.
